CNY Celebrations 2025 – Regenites Usher in the Lunar New Year with Joy and Excellence

Slithering into the new year with joy and celebration, Regenites ushered in the Chinese New Year with a vibrant array of engaging and culturally rich learning experiences!

One of the highlights was the Class CNY Bingo Game, an interactive activity that encouraged students to learn more about festive customs while fostering appreciation for Chinese heritage. The game not only brought laughter but also had students buzzing with excitement as they eagerly participated.

The celebration continued with an electrifying Chinese New Year concert, featuring captivating performances and a special appearance by the God of Fortune mascot. Dressed in a vibrant costume, he posed for photos, interacted with the crowd, and spread festive joy throughout the hall.

Adding to the excitement was an impressive Taekwondo performance, where students showcased powerful kicks, disciplined stances, and synchronized movements. This high-energy display then transitioned into a modern dance performance, blending contemporary choreography with festive tunes.

The festivities continued with a graceful dance by student leaders, whose enthusiasm engaged the crowd. Rounding off the celebration on a high note, the Show Choir led the school in powerful and harmonious renditions of popular Chinese New Year songs that left the crowd in high spirits.

Reflecting on the experience, Ho Zi Le, a student performer, shared:
"I am grateful to be a student performer in the CNY Concert Celebrations. It provided me with an opportunity to celebrate this festive occasion with my classmates and teachers while learning more about the CNY customs and traditions."

Overall, the Chinese New Year celebration was a meaningful and memorable event, combining cultural appreciation, joyful festivities, and strong school spirit while fostering a sense of togetherness among students and staff.
