Regent Secondary School marked Total Defence Day with drills and activities to build student readiness. Students learnt the importance of resilience and collective responsibility in keeping Singapore secure.

Regent Secondary School observed Total Defence Day with engaging activities, including the Exercise SG Ready initiative. A key highlight was the water disruption exercise, which allowed students to experience the inconvenience of limited water access, reinforcing the importance of preparedness. The school also conducted a Lockdown Drill as part of Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) lessons, ensuring students are equipped to handle security threats.

The event featured a Total Defence Day Parade led by the Uniformed Groups, symbolizing discipline and national defence. They also shared insights on the five pillars of Total Defence, emphasizing the role of every individual in safeguarding Singapore. Through these experiences, students gained a deeper appreciation for resilience, self-reliance, and collective responsibility in keeping the nation secure.
