CCE CCA led Gratitude Challenge 2026
The final CCE lesson of Term 1 marked the launch of the CCE-CCA led Gratitude Challenge, a school-wide initiative designed to cultivate appreciation, strengthen relationships and provide meaningful closure for our graduating students.
The programme began with the Passing Out Parade of the Uniformed Groups, a significant milestone that marked the culmination of years of discipline, commitment and service. As students stood in formation, the parade set the tone for reflection and gratitude. This offered the school community a moment to recognise the dedication of the graduating cadets and the support of their teachers and peers.
Building on this meaningful start, the Gratitude Challenge unfolded through a series of purposeful activities that encouraged students to express appreciation. Students wrote heartfelt letters to their peers and seniors, participated in gratitude circles where affirmations were shared and contributed messages to a Gratitude Wall. These experiences provided safe and structured opportunities for students to express their appreciation with sincerity and thoughtfulness.
The initiative fostered a stronger sense of belonging across the school. Students became more aware of the impact of their actions while many felt affirmed and valued. For the graduating cohort, the experience offered a meaningful sense of closure. Through expressing and receiving gratitude, they were reminded that their contributions mattered, leaving with a deepened sense of connection and pride in their shared journey.
Ultimately, the Gratitude Challenge was more than a series of activities. It was a collective effort to nurture empathy, strengthen community bonds and embed a lasting culture of appreciation within the school.
