MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)
Eligible Singapore Citizens can apply for the MOE FAS to get help with school fees and expenses. Apply via the Parents Gateway app or eFAS from 21 October 2025.
Eligible Singapore Citizens (SC) studying in the following schools or institutions can receive financial assistance from MOE on fees and other school expenses:
Government and government-aided schools
Government-funded special education schools
Independent schools
Specialised schools
Some specialised independent schools: NUS High School of Mathematics and Science and the School of Science and Technology
Government-funded post-secondary education institutions: Institute of Technical Education, polytechnics, autonomous universities and arts institutions and National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC).
Applications for financial assistance will start from Tuesday, 21 October 2025. Parents/Guardians can apply for the financial assistance through the Parents Gateway app services via the tile "Financial Assistance".

Current MOE FAS recipients in Year 2025 must re-apply if they are eligible and require financial assistance in Year 2026.
If your child/ward is a ComCare recipient covering Year 2026, you do not need to apply for the MOE FAS as it will be auto-granted.
