Education and Career Guidance (ECG) on the Move 2026
From 30 March 2026 to 2 April 2026, several Education and Career Guidance (ECG) booths and panels were set up next to the canteen in the school. These encouraged the students to explore and participate in an immersive ECG experience during their recess and lunch breaks. The programme aimed to provide students with opportunities to explore and reassess their interests, skills, and strengths related to the different post-secondary academic options and the industries they are interested in learning more about. The three-day in-house programme also allowed students to explore job roles from the listed industries and gain a preliminary idea of the career types that best suit them. Hence, the programme enabled them to discover potential career options and explore opportunities that may be relevant to these options.
ECG on the Move was mainly facilitated by the Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) Representatives from each class who brought their classmates to the exhibits and facilitated the sessions. The school’s ECG counsellor, also assisted the CCE Representatives and clarified any doubts that the students might have.
The experience in participating in ECG on the Move Programme has certainly
enlightened our students on some possible post-secondary educational pathways
and ignited their passion to pursue their dream courses in the post-secondary
institution of their choice.
